Eugene Richard Louey

Eugene Richard Louey, age 87, Lecanto, FL passed away December 19, 2025 at home under the loving care of his wife.

Eugene was born in Dickinson, NY on November 12, 1938 to the late Richard M. Louey and Mavis Barlow Louey.  He came to Citrus County in 2010 from Massena, NY.  He was a retired dairy farmer, and retired from Wassick State School.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Bonnie; 2 sons: Richard and his wife Dawn; Samuel and his wife Sue; 4 daughters: Marjorie Heacox and husband Joe; Marlene Wright and husband Steve; Ruby Thomas and husband Joe; Rhonda Krager and husband Larry; 2 brothers: Larry and wife Gail; Ellis and wife Cindy; 2 sisters: Mirl Backstead and Mary Ann Hosher; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Louey.  They were married 56 years.
