Tim & I love Bro. Bob & Joyce Walker. They were such godly influences on us when we came to Belmont Baptist Church as a newly married couple in 1982. We developed a special friendship over the years & we were blessed to visit them in their homes in Lakes Wales, Blairsville & Inverness. We are so grateful that we will get to spend eternity with them in heaven. When we think about spiritual giants in our lives Brother Bob is one of them. Our deep condolences for his dear family. Sending our love & prayers. ~~ Kris & Tim Neldner

Fon and Deb came to know, love and appreciate Bob and Joyce at Belmont Baptist Church. They were so often the voice of wisdom and maturity we all needed. We will miss Bob until the day we meet again in Heaven.

Bob and Joyce were very social people to me and my family. We “grew up” along with their kids, and felt like family. My prayers are full force with the family during this time. No doubt Bob had an incredible welcome home party with both my parent in attendance. See you when I get home, Bob!

What a wonderful person to know growing up. The fun times from sinking a boat on Lake Walk-In-Water to teaching me to use a fly rod. Thank you for being such a special person to me.

I don’t remember my life without Bro Bob in it. I was born into the Belmont family, and Bro Bob and Mrs Joyce were always in my life, along with their kids, Bobby and Sherry. My mom was privileged to work with Bro Bob on staff for many years. My parents were in the choir, under his leadership. My mom always complimented Bro Bob as doing anything that needed to be done, a faithful servant. She would remind me and my brother, Bill, that a need seen is an assignment given. We both grew up watching Bro Bob serve and followed his example. He was definitely a role model for us all. He was a man of God, a true leader, and had a kind and generous heart. I’m sure both of my parents greeted him, and there is a huge Belmont reunion taking place. Bro Bob, you were one of a kind and such a positive influence in my life You were so appreciated, respected, and loved. Your legacy lives on in the lives of both me and my brother. Until we meet again—-

Michael and I met Bro Bob when we first started attending Belmont Baptist Church in Temple Terrace FL. Shortly after one of our first visits Michael lost his eye sight in one eye and Bob Walker visited us and prayed for Michael’s surgery and he sat with me and my mom and Michael’s parents in the hospital all day! We became fast friends and sat under his leadership in choir and Michael served with Bob in different capacities. We loved Bob and Joyce Walker and he will be missed but oh want a reunion we will have one day! Prayers for the family and all our love to them
