Lee Vernon Green, age 77 of Floral City, FL passed away on December 7, 2025 following an extended illness at the Citrus Health & Rehab Center. Lee was born in Portsmouth, VA on July 10, 1948 to the late Robert and Theo (Vernon) Green and came to Citrus County in 1986 from Brooksville. He retired as a Security Supervisor for the E-Nini-Hassee Camp following 15 years of service. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Life Member of V.F.W. Post 7122 in Floral City.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years, Anna Lewis Green and 4 children: Chris Robert Green of Akron, OH; Scott Kissinger of Ocala, FL; Brian Kissinger of Deland, FL, and Vicky Ramirez of Bellview, FL; 7 grandchildren: Leighanna, Alexa, Zach, Gabby, Belle, Kellan, and Rian; 5 great grandchildren; niece, Laura; and 3 nephews: Phillip, James, and Paul. He was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Hancock and a nephew, Timothy.
Lee’s urn will be laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be planned at a later date. Cremation services were entrusted to the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness, FL
