Judith H Kirby, born 7/11/1945 passed on 11/28/2025 in the loving company of her family under the care of Hospice at HCA Citrus. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Boyd Philip Kirby. Judy leaves behind a legacy of love in her daughters Pam Dawson (Mike) and Patricia Stafford (Tom), six granddaughters Ashley Ornelas, Amber Housley (Chase), Meagan Moser (Thomas), Morgan Arnold (Greg), Lauren Walton (Ryan) and Emily Maxwell (Trace). She also had the blessings of 11 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Dr David Harms (Joyce) of Plano, TX. Judy had a servants heart and shared her nurturing nature often. She expressed her love through food and garnered much joy in cooking and feeding others. She was a loyal friend to many. “Nana” was known for her matzo ball soup which miraculously cured the entire family of everything from a stubbed toe to the flu to a broken heart. In March 2020 spine surgery rendered her paraplegic. Though her life was drastically changed she remained positive and happy and her strong will and faith in God carried her through. Her final months brought tremendous physical pain. She is now free from the burdens of a broken body, paralysis, wheelchairs and medical equipment and her family and friends take great comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven in her new body celebrating with the love of the ones before her. Nana is our angel! If anyone is so inclined to honor Judith, she held great sentiment and gratitude to Ziggy’s Bird Haven in Inverness, FL where her beloved pet macaw, Gator was taken in as a permanent resident when she was no longer able to care for her. ziggyshaven.com (352)419-4086
