Daniel “Danny” Gersic, of Hernando, passed away peacefully Friday, November 21, 2025 at Cates House in Ocala, surrounded by his loving family. He was 50 years of age.
Danny was born in Oceanside, New York to John Gersic and Dorothy (Skala) Gersic. He moved to this area in 1992 from Bay Shore, NY. He worked for Capris Furniture Industries in Ocala for 20 years in the shipping department
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Dorothy Gersic of Hernando; his sisters Debbie Gersic of Hernando; Michelle Cross of Iowa; and his brothers Jim Gersic, Tom Gersic, John Gersic of New York.
The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
