Naomi J. Stewart, of Homosassa, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Compass Rose in Lecanto. She was 86. Naomi was born in Green Township, Scioto County Ohio to Lacy P. and Eula (Bowen) Ratcliff on October 4, 1938. She worked in the Gahanna public school system in the cafeteria and enjoyed playing card games and visiting the casino. Naomi moved to Citrus County in 2023 from Whitehall, Ohio. Naomi was not only preceded in death by her parents, but also, her daughter Teresa Lynn Justice and grandson James Allen Stewart. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers Louis, Edward, Eugene, Bill, James, Jerry, Larry and two sisters Lillian, and Ruth. Those left to cherish her memory are her son James Stewart and his wife Cindy of Homosassa and daughter Michele Morris of Groveport, Ohio; four grandchildren Toni, Alison (Tony), Casey, Katelynd and three great grandchildren Tyler, Carson and Saylor. Naomi decided she didn’t want a traditional funeral service. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Union Grove cemetery in Groveport, Ohio.
