Joanne Elizabeth Nolan passed away September 26, 2025 at her home in Floral City at the age of 92. She was born in Washington, PA to the late William and Helen (Mitchell) Gottshall. Joanne was baptized and raised a Methodist. She was a proud homemaker, and enjoyed taking care of her family. Joanne moved to Florida from Pennsylvania in 1973, and married Ralph in 1974. They had 42 wonderful years together until his passing on September 26, 2016. Those who are left to cherish her memory are her four children: Linda Haynes, Cindy Chivers, Cathy Lewter, and David Chivers; Eight grandchildren: Rebecca Beebee, Richard Collins, Gary Lee Whitman, Heather Boyd, Amanda Lussier, Savahanna Bolen, Kristen Chivers, and step granddaughter Kelli; Eight great grandchildren: Kayla Blue Jackson, Paxton Beebee, Brenden Beebee, Ehmett Collins, Jemmah Collins, Maddi Boyd, Lilli Boyd, and Caden Bolen; Four great-great grandchildren: Spencer Jackson, Taylor Jackson, and step great-great grandchildren: Carson Jackson and Erin Jackson; and Ralph’s children: Trish, Gary, and Mark. Joanne was preceded in death by Ralph, and her son Douglas. A memorial service will be held later in January 2026 in the Davis chapel. Service information will be posted at a later date.
