Florence Evelyn Parker, age 96, Hernando, FL passed away on September 19, 2025 at home under the loving care of her family and Hospice.
Florence was born in Cambridge, MA on September 14, 1929 to the late George E. and Florence E. Haigh and moved to Florida from West Chatham, MA 44 years ago.
Florence was a homemaker, loving mom and grandmother. She attended the 7 Rivers Presbyterian Church while in Florida and the Brewster Baptist Church while in Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Raymond A. Parker on September 14, 2021.
Left to cherish her memory are two children: Douglas A. Parker and his wife Jane of Bonita Springs, FL; Cindy E. Parker of West Chatham, MA; 1 sister, Dora Carr of Tewksbury, MA; 2 cherished grandchildren: Jason A. Parker and his wife Cara and Bradford A. Parker; 3 adored great grandchildren: Chase, Noah, and Kennedy.
Private burial services are scheduled at Florida National Cemetery on Monday, October 13, 2025. under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL
