Dear Family,
Where do I start ? I met Jan about 20 years ago through Gator football on a tarmac in Gainesville. I’m not sure how we bonded so quickly but it was an instant very deep friendship. We traveled together, attended ball games together, went to concerts together, went to the NC Mountains and the list goes on. When Jan was around there was never a dull moment. I loved her as a second mother, and she treated me like another son. She was always quick to fire off a greeting card, get well card, or sympathy card depending on the occasion. Jan had a kind heart but also had a temper at times. We understood each other. She introduced me to The Freezer Restaurant as well as The Orange Blossom Opry House, both of which have become frequented establishments. My prayer for Jan is that she is now basking in the house of the Lord, and for the family I pray that God’s love and your precious memories will comfort all of you at this most difficult time. RIP, my friend and God Bless !
God Bless you sweet friend! You are tremendously loved and missed!
