David Samuel Campbell, 72, of Inverness, died unexpectedly at his home on August 19, 2025. Born in Long Beach, CA, he is the son of the late James Alfred and Isabell Catheryn (Darling) Campbell.
David served as a security specialist in the U.S. Air Force attaining the rank of Sargeant. After his service, he worked as a machine operator in the steel mill.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 25 years, Janis “Jan” Gayle (nee Aiken) Campbell; his sons and their spouses, Corey and Kelli Campbell, Jerry and Anni Campbell; stepdaughter, Shelli Bartholomew.
Private cremation arrangements under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. David will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
