Maria Clark, age 84, Inverness, FL passed away August 13, 2025 in the Avante Health & Rehab Center.
Mrs. Clark was born in Colombia, South America on September 5, 1940 her father was Librado Tilaguy and her mother, Barbara Gonzalez she moved to Florida in 1989 from Michigan. She retired from Ford Motor Corporation as an assembly line worker and was of the Catholic Faith.
Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Jose and Gerardo Tilaguy and many nieces Like Francy Montero, Ersa Arevalo & nephews including Leopoldo and Jose R. Arevalo neighbors that became her special friends.
Our Aunt was the sweetest and most respectful people we know. She left great memories in every one of us when she visited us in Colombia and shared many new experiences on her new life in the USA like when she started working for Ford company back in 1965. Additionally to this, she was always looking to find the way to help us to reach our dreams and never give up without giving the best. For this and many more reasons, she was a role model to follow, learning from her how she treated people and care for them was inspiring and left in our hearts a great example to become.
The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Suszynski, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eustis, FL. Visitation will be on Sunday at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 PM
