Paul Eugene Lindsey, 88, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, in Lecanto, Florida.
Originally from Edmonson City, Kentucky, Paul was born on June 16, 1937, to Loven R. and Hallie (Scott) Lindsey. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, he dedicated his career to the construction industry as a skilled drywall hanger. Paul was known for his quiet strength and his deep love for his family.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carojen Marie (Scenna) Lindsey; his seven children: Paul Lindsey, Jr., Edward and Matthew Nurse, Stephanie Nurse, Evelyn Guzman, and Laurie Brown; and his siblings, Burt, William, and Eva. Paul’s legacy continues through his 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Nurse.
The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date to honor and remember Paul.
