Gary Crispell

Gary Lee Crispell, age 79, Floral City, FL passed away suddenly at home on July 5, 2025.  Gary was born in Noxen, PA on July 23, 1945 to the late Lawrence and Fannie Bell Crispell and came to this area in 1972 from St. Petersburg.  He was a retired waste engineer and served our country in the U.S. Army.  He was a faithful member of Calvary Chapel.

Gary is survived by his wife Florence Abboud Crispell.  They were married

November 5, 1968.  He also leaves 2 sons: Jeffrey & Tami Crispell of Inverness and Michael & Jamie Crispell of Floral City; 6 grandchildren: Josh, Tanner, Kenna, Cason, Billie, and Sarah and 6 great grandchildren: Reed, Gage, Jaycee, Jonny, Hunter, and Brook.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Beverly Buckingham.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM from Calvary Chapel Church with Pastors Kevin Ballard and Paul Giglio officiating.  Military Honors will follow immediately after services in front of the Church.  V.F.W. Post 4337 will officiate.  Burial will follow at a later date in Florida National Cemetery.

    This is Sundae & Clay Spicer, we are so sad hearing the news of the passing of your beloved husband. It’s heartbreaking to know that you lost your companion of so many years . It seems you and Gary have always been together and always will be together in heart & soul.
