Pam Doty of Lake Panasoffkee, FL passed away peacefully on May 21st, shortly after her 80th birthday. Pam was a loving, kind and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. Pamela Sue Hoke was born in Hanover, PA to Maurice and Anna Mae Hoke. She graduated from Hanover High School in 1963. She graduated from Shippensburg State College in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. She was a math teacher at Plant City High School in Plant City, FL for several years. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida. After earning her MBA, she began her career as a tax accountant where she served the central Florida community for many years.
After retiring from accounting, Pam and Randy moved to Lake Panasoffkee where they enjoyed fishing, restoring vintage cars, traveling, and caring for their friends, family, and two dogs. In her final years, she was a resident at the Mission Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care in Oxford, FL where she was assisted by the compassionate and caring staff. She was an active participant in the activities and was known for helping others, her bright smile, and kindness.
Pam is survived by her husband, Randall Doty; two children, Timothy W. Conway IV, and his wife Wanda, and Scott Maurice Conway; two grandchildren, Timothy W. Conway V, and his wife Samantha, and Caitlyn Conway Eseman; one great grandchild, Timothy Conway VI; two brothers, Tom Hoke, and his wife Jean, and Mike Hoke, and his wife Linda; several nephews and nieces; and many dear friends.
A celebration of life for Pam will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home chapel. A funeral procession to Florida National Cemetery will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Pam’s memory to Mission Oaks Memory Care in Oxford, FL or the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
