Marian Diane Waller, age 71 of Istachatta passed away on May 10, 2025 in Gordon, AL as a result of an automotive accident. Diane was born in Tampa, FL to the late Marion and Effie (McCalvin) Myrick on October 26, 1953.
Left to cherish her memory are three sons: David Waller and his wife Sabrina of Istachatta, Adam Waller of Istachatta, and Jesse Waller of Land O’Lakes, FL; one daughter, Kimberly Waller Gritten and her husband, Will of Illinois; brother, Peter Story of Pennsylvania; four sisters: Christine Murray of Pinellas Park, Kathy Williamson of Floral City; Shirley Campbell of Floral City, and Debra Waller of Floral City; twelve grandchildren: A.J. Waller, Jacob “Peanut” Waller, Mariah Stone, Makayla Stone, Austin Stone, Madison Stone, Aubree Waller, Jasper Gritten, Briley Gritten, Dominyq Gritten, Nikolas Gritten, Kheagyn Gritten; two great grandchildren: Oakley Gritten and Jayden Gritten.
Her husband of 52 years, Alan David Waller, and her daughter, Carrie Stone, died in the same accident.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th, 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ with Mr. Charles Murray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery, Istachatta. Arrangements are in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
