Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On
Beverly B. Pronovost

Beverly B. Pronovost

Beverly Bunce Pronovost of Hernando, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 25th.  Born in Albany, New York to Frank Bunce and Beatrice Yelle Bunce on December 20, 1936, she was 88 years old.

Most recently, Beverly has been a volunteer with the Citrus County Sheriff’s department for the past 20 years.  Previously, she was a Professional Roller Figure Skating coach and mentor for over 45 years and traveled the world for competitions.  She produced many National Champions and was passionate about everything she did.   She was a true fashionista and cutting-edge skating costume designer.  Beverly was a people person and loved to laugh and have a good time and nothing made her happier than trying out a new restaurant.  In her free time, she was an avid reader.  Beverly was very passionate about everything she did, but nothing more so than for her beloved New York Yankees.

Beverly is survived by the love of her life, Andre Pronovost, of Citrus Hills and her step-son Robert Pronovost of Bristol, Connecticut and his wife Jamie.

There will be a Celebration of Beverly’s Life on April 11th from 2-4 at the Davis Funeral home in Inverness.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly’s name to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Beverly’s husband, Andre remembers her as someone who always had a kind word for everyone.   She was someone who didn’t mind listening to everyone’s problems and troubles because she was sensitive to their fears and concerns.  She was someone who could offer a genuine opinion because she was honest with herself and with others.  She was someone who enjoyed the company of others and loved to laugh and have a good time.  She was a coach and mentor and enjoyed encouraging others to use their wonder and potential and turn it into dreams come true.   For all these reasons, Andre saw her as an angel sent by God to enlighten and bless all who knew her.   God bless Beverly for what she was and what she meant to everyone who had the privilege to know her and love her.   She will always remain in that special place in his heart.

The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida is assisting the family.
