She spent many summers at Camp Kateri, camping, canoeing, swimming and singing Girl Scout songs with Troop 300. She earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award in 1983. As an adult, she dedicated much of her life to giving back as a Girl Scout Troop leader, first with her sister and later with her daughters and nieces. Her most recent Troop 315, including her three nieces, all of whom began their Girl Scout journeys under her leadership.

I knew and loved Jen since she was 10 years old and moved to Houston with her mother and brother. She was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle person I have ever met. I will always cherish my memories of her and Dee and her family. My condolences to Dee and Carol.

    Oh my ,
my heart just dropped and broke when I saw someone post the news about Jen passing away!! She was my
Daughter’s girl scout leader when my Ashlynn was a girl scout. Jen was such a wonderful lady. I couldn’t tell you how many times she helped us out. Even if it was just a quick little conversation she was always there for people. And let’s not forget she made the best crafts ever. She will be missed 😢 💔
