Oden C. “Odie” DeLoach, age 86 of Inverness, FL passed away February 8, 2025 under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice. “Odie” was born in Bradenton, FL, the son of the late Clinton C. and Arrie Virginia Sauls DeLoach. He came to Citrus County in 1998 from Bradenton. He was employed by Graybar Electric Company for over 20 years and served our country in the U. S. Air Force.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Janet; his daughter, Melanee Barber of Eustis, FL; 1 sister, Helen Clements of Alabaster, AL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Terri Harper in AR and Chuck Wichel in GA. He was preceded in death by his son, Oden DeLoach, Jr. in 2014; two brothers, Charles and J.W. DeLoach, his sister, Kohatha Culpepper and stepson, Jack Wichel.
At “Odie’s” request, there are no services planned. Private cremation is under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness, FL
