Jay was a dear friend to my husband and I for many years. We met at a car show in Plantation, FL. My husband Bill and Jay were avid Mopar fans and they spent a lot of time together buying and selling parts. He’ll be remembered in my family as a standup, trustworthy friend, always there for you. RIP Jay.
Thank you for your kind words, Angela.

Jay called me about 2 weeks before his death. We talked and caught up for over an hour. I am so thankful I was able to connect with him. The death was a shock. We talked about the plans and events for the upcoming show season. Jay was excited as always and looking toward the adventures for 25. I guess the good Lord had other plans for him. Our Florida Mopar Connection was 34 years old before its break-up due to to covid. Jay was a fixture at every sow over the years. We are a family and Jay was part of that. Over the years I bought and traded rare parts with him. Jay was a strait shooter and always reasonable. If you needed something he would root it out somehow. Jay was respected and ad many friends and acquaintances all up and down the Eastern Seaboard. I am proud to have known him as a friend. The world has lost a good soul.
It was definitely a shock. John. I am glad you were able to catch up with him. My father loved those shows. It was his passion. He made so many great, lifelong friends over the years. You are right. The world has lost a good soul. Thank you for your kind words. His service will be held on March 31st at Charles Davis Memorial in Inverness at 11am. – Janet Feener
