Daniel O. Flatt, 50, of Bushnell, FL passed away December 18, 2024 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. He was born in Lake County, FL on September 13, 1974 to the late Barney Cooper and Sylvia Kay (Shaw) Flatt. Daniel was a lifelong Lineman for Duke Energy and SECO Energy. He was a lifelong resident of Florida and the Bushnell area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working cattle. Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter Kaylan Danielle Flatt in 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Flatt, and 2 step sons, Dylan Lambert of Cape Coral, FL and Chase Lambert of Tampa, FL., and sister Dorothy J. Stokes.
A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held at the Sumter County Fairgrounds on Saturday, December 28, at 3:00pm. The family will be receiving friends in visitation at the fairgrounds from 1:00 to 3:00PM. There will be a Fellowship Dinner following the service, at the Fairgrounds. The address for the fairgrounds is: 7620 State Rte. 471, Bushnell, FL. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family.
