Janette Wanser

Janette B. Wanser, 90, of Hernando, FL passed away June 29, 2024 at her residence in Hernando. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on January 16, 1934 to the late Julius and Mary (Pakla) Urban. Janette was a book keeper for a radio and TV station. She arrived in this area in 2023, coming from Tennessee. Janette was Catholic by faith, and enjoyed reading, gardening, and loved her dog “Lulu”. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert R. Wanser, Jr and her brother, Richard Urban. Survivors include her sons Robert R Wanser III of Norfolk, VA and Michael Wanser of Moyock, NC; daughters Linda Wassenaar of Norfolk, VA, Angela Bristol of Hernando, and Susan Haley of Covington, VA; twelve grand children; and nine great grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
