Lamar Frank Williamson, of Inverness, passed away under Hospice care at his home. He was 64. Lamar was a Florida boy thru and thru, having been born in Dunedin, to Frank Lloyd and Dorothy Ellen (Worsham) Williamson, and he was their only child. He was a commercial fisherman for many years, and he spent his free time hunting, fishing, and racing. Lamar has lived in this area since the early 1970’s, having moved up here from Odessa. Those left to cherish Lamar’s memory are his sons Kyle Lamar Williamson (Kara) and Andy Williamson (Cristy), all of Inverness; step-son Albert Kersey (Brianne); daughter Heather Fritzinger (Will) of Floral City; and eleven grandchildren. The family will have a gathering at the Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, June 29, 2024 starting at 10am, then continuing a Celebration of Life at the Tillis Hill Recreational Center 9231 Trail 13, Inverness, Fl 34452. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation with Care 3075 S. Florida AVE Inverness FL 34450.
