William Bernard Duggan, Jr., 76, of Hernando, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his residence in Hernando surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Worcester, MA on April 22, 1948 to the late William B. and Helen (Carmody) Duggan, Sr. William was an Executive for the railroad industry and Catholic by faith. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a Vietnam Veteran. William’s passions included golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Duggan, daughters Jennifer Wilcox of Quaker Hill, CT, Kelley (Paul) Weitzel of Huntersville, NC, and Kimberly Duggan of San Diego, CA; sisters Connie Rose of Dade City, FL, Patricia Lancaster and Mary Lou Raschello, both of Quaker Hill, CT; and 2 beautiful granddaughters Kaylee Wilcox of New London, CT and Jayna Weitzel, Huntersville, NC. Military services for William will be conducted on Tuesday, May 21, 1:00pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with honor guard services by VFW Post #4337, Inverness, FL.
