Pamela Noel

Pamela Jean Noel, of Hernando, passed peacefully at home under Hospice, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. She was 69.

Pamela was born in Bloomington, Illinois to Bob and Patricia (Blaine) Deerwester. She was retired as a customer service specialist with State Farm Insurance. Pamela and her husband Curtis moved here in 2007 from Bloomington. She loved fixing things (sewing and crafts), and she loved to sing, which she did in the church choir while her kids were growing up. She was even known to go out and sing karaoke. Pamela also baked the best Texas sheet cake! She belonged to the Citrus Garden Club, and was a faithful protestant.

Pamela was preceded in death by her loving husband Curtis in 2021, and by her brother David Deerwester. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Patricia Deerwester, sisters Debbie (Charlie) DeBolt, Patty (Mark) Ballinger, and Carol (Steve) Mitchell; her children Chris and Mindy Noel of Normal, Illinois, and Stephanie Noel of Homosassa, Florida; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Friday April 26, 2024 at 11:00am. Her urn will be laid to rest with Curtis in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that anyone wishing to send condolences instead make a donation to one of the following organizations in Pamala’s honor.
