Anne P. O’Reilly, 82, of Lecanto died Sunday, April 7th at Compass Rose of Citrus County under the care of Hospice. She was born April 22nd, 1941 in New York City to John and Carmela Bruno and moved to Citrus County in 1990 from Bayside, N.Y.

She worked for Con Edison in Manhattan, where she met the love of her life, Ed. They were happily married for 28 years until Ed’s passing in 2007.

Anne was a die-hard N.Y. Mets fan. When she wasn’t busy rooting for the Mets, she enjoyed volunteering at Citrus Memorial Hospital, playing Bingo and cards with her friends, and hunting for a good bargain.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Pagnotta (Luisa), daughter, Linae O’Reilly (Chris), and granddaughter, Rylee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and three brothers, Angelo Bruno, Nicholas Bruno, and Joseph Bruno.

Her family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Compass Rose of Citrus County for their unwavering and compassionate care of Anne over the years.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, April 15th at 11:00 AM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory with Fr. Michael Suszynski of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiating. Following cremation, her urn will be placed next to her husband in Florida National Cemetery
