George L Hooker

George L. Hooker, of Homosassa, passed away under Hospice care in Lecanto on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He was 96. George was born to the late John L. and Louise (Crowe) Hooker in Sidney, Florida. He served in the US Navy proudly. George worked many years as a building contractor. He was a long-time member of the Church of Christ in Inverness. George was preceded in death by his loving wife Wilma Hooker and his daughter Carol Bigelow. Those left to cherish his memory are his son Jere Hooker (Darlene) of Homosassa; sisters Marion and Linda; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
