Christopher Gore

Christopher M “Chris” Gore, of Inverness, passed away on Thursday morning, March 14, 2024. He was 53. Chris was born in Boynton Beach to Gene Gore and Louise Whiting on 12/5/1970, and has remained in Florida his whole life. He was a resident of the Key Training Center, and worked a few years at Wal-Mart as front-end service personnel. Chris loved race cars, from Hot Wheels to NASCAR, he just absolutely loved them. Chris had an enormous love for life and truly found happiness in everything and everyone. He was preceded in death by his sister Jodi Seto in 2021. Those left to cherish Chris’ memory are his mom Louise Whiting of Inverness; his dad Gene Gore and Pauline Woodham of Live Oak; his sister and her husband, Kelli and Jonathan Melton of Inverness; his brother Dana Gore of Inverness; his nephew and his wife Kyle and Heather Durr of Live Oak; his niece and nephew Daniel and Summer Crapps. A celebration of Chris’ life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 10:30 until time of service.
