Patsy Clark

John B. and Patsy J. (Ramsey) Clark, of Inverness, both passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She died in the early morning hours under Hospice care, and he died later in the day of Broken Heart Syndrome. John and Patsy were married almost 70 years, and were always by one another’s side. They were both born in Tennessee, not long after the great depression. He was a police officer and loving husband and father, and she was a doting homemaker and loving wife and mother. They spent many years raising their family in Colorado Springs while he was in law enforcement. John and Patsy moved here in the mid-1980s following his retirement. They both loved reading, and John also loved working puzzles in the newspaper, and he was known as a “Mr. Fixit.” He could fix, put together, or build almost anything. She also loved sewing, crocheting, and gardening. John was preceded in death by his brother Winston Clark, Jr., and they were both preceded in death by their daughter-in-law Deborah Clark. Those left to cherish John and Patsy’s memories are their children Bradley Clark of California and Melissa Barker of North Carolina; grandchildren Megan Boyle (Patrick), Emily Phelps (Chase), John Clark, and Patricia Clark; five great grandchildren; Patsy’s siblings Peggy Ramsey and John Ramsey; and several nieces and nephews. Both John and Patsy Clark will be greatly missed by those who knew them. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, and burial will take place in the Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
