Herman Edwin Fowler of Homosassa passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, after an extended pneumonia illness. He was raised in Connecticut and served in the United States Marine Corps. Herman retired after a 37-year-long career at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marjorie Frances Fowler. He also leaves behind 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous brothers and sisters. Beloved by anyone who knew him, he had a keen sense of humor, rugged zest for special repair projects, a passion for gardening and planting, and enjoyed tinkering in his shop with his ’55 Chevy. He was known for being personable and would initiate conversations with anyone. Herman traveled throughout the United States and parts of the world, experiencing many adventures with his wife. He was a devoted husband, father, and all-around family man who will be dearly missed.
Service will be held on Friday, March 8th at 11 a.m. at Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 3075 S. Florida Ave., Inverness, FL.
