Rosemarie Burnett

Rosemarie Burnett, of Inverness, passed away peacefully at HPH Citrus Hospice House in Lecanto. She was 76. Born in Landshut, Germany as one of thirteen children, Rosemarie met a young American military man, and when his service brought him back to the states, he brought her with him as his wife. They lived and raised a family in Massachusetts before moving to New Hampshire almost 25 years ago. From there, they moved to Citrus County about 20 years ago. Rosemarie was a proud homemaker who loved music, tanning, and was a fanatic about keeping a clean home. She was always up on the latest fashion! Most of all, she loved her family and her animals, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. Rosemarie was preceded in death by all of her siblings, except her twin sister; her pups Fritzi, Shane, and JJ; and several kitties. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 60 years Bruno Burnett of Inverness; her daughters Marisa Chaloux (Tom) and Michelle Felice (Ernie); her sons Robert Burnett (Angela) and Bobby Burnett (Anne Gruis); grandchildren Thomas Chaloux (Kate), Korianne Wheatley (James), Shayne Chaloux (Destiny), Justin, Tyler, and Kennady Burnett, and Braleigh, Bella, and Blitzen Burnett; great grandchildren Landon, Maci, and Noah Wheatley, Teagan, Lucas, and Brantley Chaloux; her twin sister Annemarie Asenbauer; her pups Sunshine and Bear; several nieces and nephews out of state and in Germany, four of which were extremely close enough to be her own children, Tanja Neuhauss and Marianne Fruith of Germany, and Debbie and Mike Gormely of Massachusetts. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care in Inverness.
