Robert Henry Rowe, age 90, Inverness, FL passed away January 17, 224 at his residence.
A native of St Petersburg, FL, he was born on November 6, 1933 to the late Henry and Margaret (Miller) Rowe. He moved to Citrus County in 1973 from there where he retired from the St. Petersburg Police Department after 20 years of service.
An ordained Pastor, he ministered in the prison systems of Florida and Georgia with his late wife, Rosemary until his retirement in 1985. She preceded him in death on October 11, 2022. Additionally, he pastured churchs in New Mexico, California, and Georgia.
With his wife, he raised 5 children and 2 step children: Gary Gissiner, Barbara Rowe, Paul Rowe, Scarlett Rockey, John Rowe, and Renita Steenbergen ; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren as well as
great great grandchildren.
At Bob’s request, there is no public services. Cremation is entrusted to Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness, FL.
