Jimmy Wayne Murray

Jimmy Wayne Murray, of Floral City, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 6, 2024. He was 76, Jimmy, who went by the name Wayne, was born in Waycross, GA and served in the Vietnam War. After returning, he and his wife Bonnie moved to New Port Richey where they raised their 6 children and he ran his air conditioning business, Northwind. Wayne was the bishop of his church for many years. He loved to fish, race cars, dancing and music, but most of all he had the greatest love for his family. Wayne was preceded in death by his young son, David; his first wife of 50 years, Bonnie, and his second wife Sherry. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Karen Denise Murray; his sons Wesley Murray and Ryan Murray; His daughters Shannon Murray, Alaph Murray and Elena Williams; his sister Debborah Tippins; six grandchildren and his boxer “Mickey”.
