Jacquelyn “Jacqui” Frazee, age 85, Inverness, FL passed away January 4, 2024 in the Ocala Regional Medical Center. “Jacqui” was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on February 1, 1938 to the late John and Lillian (Latter) Cowen. She moved to this area in 1990 from Sanibel Island, FL with her late husband, Harry Frazee, who passed away February 29, 1996.

Prior to retirement, she worked with her husband managing his insurance office (Northwestern Mutual Insurance Agency). “Jacqui” was a long time and devoted member of the Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church. She chaired and worked on several committees.

Left to mourn her passing is her son, Cory Frazee of Inverness. 1 step son, Frank Frazee of Ohio; 1 step daughter, Lorraine Kane of Vero Beach, FL;
1 brother, Rev. William Cowen of Ontario; 3 grandchildren: Michael, Gregory, and Alex Frazee; 6 great grandchildren: Elina, Lucian, Nicholas, Franklin, Madeline, and Elizabeth Frazee. She also had several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; a step daughter, Pamela Fox and her sister, Marilyn Prentice.

There is a Celebration of Life scheduled for Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM from the Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cortese officiating. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery. At Jacqui’s request, there will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorials are being accepted by the church’s deacon fund. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness assisted the family with arrangements.
