Kenneth P Wood

Born Kenneth Paul Wood, he was the son of the late Tandy and Lucille Wood. He was born in Ripley, W.Va. on January 8, 1961, and is survived by his two sons, Jonathan Tandy Wood (Taylor) and Zachary Thomas Wood (Ashlea); two brothers, Steven A. Wood (Linda) and Kevin L. Wood (Cathy); two sisters, Toni M. Buzzard (Lester) and Rebecca J. Wood (Andy); six nieces and nephews; and two great nephews; and one fur baby Oliver, his companion of 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Tandy and Lucille Wood; his wife Beth A. Wood; and sister-in-law Lori A Wood-Dean.
Kenneth worked for Carl E. Smith Pipeline in the 1980’s. He and his family relocated to Florida where he worked at Emergency One, fabricating fire trucks and other emergency vehicles. Kenneth finished his fabricating career with Cato Classic. Kenneth became disabled in the late 90’s after a car accident. His family would like to wish a very special THANK YOU to Mike Morgan of Morgan Heating and Air. A celebration of life is planned for Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Davis Chapel at 3:00 PM. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home 3075 S. Florida Avenue, Inverness, FL 34450.
