Nikkia Motika, age 96, Summerfield, FL passed away November 10, 2023 in UF Health Shand’s Hospital, Gainesville, FL. Services are Monday, November 27th at 11:00 AM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Fr Sergious Gerken, pastor of St. Raphael Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Florida National Cemetery.
Nikkia was born in Columbus, OH to the late Thomas and Mary (Lagurrellis) Kellis on January 28, 1927. She moved to Florida from Ohio where she was employed as a Human Resource officer in a hospital. She was a member of St Raphael’s Orthodox Church
She was predeceased by her husband, George Motika on May 26, 2020. Also predeceased by her children, grandchildren, and a sister. Her other sister, Fany Kellis is surviving and lives in Summerfield.
