Wilhelmina “Mickey” Freiwald, 92 of Lecanto, passed away September 5, 2023 at HCA Citrus Hospital in Inverness. Mickey was born in the Netherlands on June 5, 1931 to the late Theodorus and Wilhelmina (Schrier) Anneese. She came to Citrus County in 1992 from New Jersey.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Lucy Kelmer of Brandon, FL, Wilhelmina Kelly of Bradenton, FL, and Patrick Freiwald of Port Orange, FL; her granddaughter, Michele Kelmer and husband Victor Kaposonore and great grandchildren: Chloe Kaposonore and Isaac Kaposonore and granddaughter Amanda LaVaria; step-son Cliff Freiwald of Atlanta, GA, and step- daughter Barbara Conklin of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Robert, in 2008, her son Roger Freiwald and step-daughter Roberta Edsal.
Private cremation arrangements are under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
