Susan J. Gissy, age 61, Crystal River, FL passed away September 5, 2023 under the loving care of her family and HPH Hospice.
Susan was born in Wareham, MA on December 20, 1961 to Robert and Dorothy (Lino) Payne. She moved to Florida from Falmouth, MA. Susan was a Postal Carrier for the United States Postal Service. She had a zest for life, a compassionate heart, and will always be remembered for her contagious laughter and an endless love for her children.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Donald Gissy of Crystal River, FL; 2 daughters: Rachel Grillo and husband of Denver, CO and Shelby Mulligan of Crystal River, FL; her mother, Dorothy Payne; 2 sisters: June Brenner of Falmouth, MA and Karen Mapp of Beverly Hills, FL; 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Payne.
At Susan’s request, there are no services scheduled. Cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
