Caroline P. LaValle, age 91, Floral City, FL passed away September 2, 2023 at home under the care of her loving family and Vitas Hospice.
Caroline was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 29, 1931 to the late Vincent and Pauline (Lombardo) Palermo and came to this area with her late husband, Vincent LaValle 43 years ago from Centereach, Long Island, NY. He passed away on June 10, 2008.
Caroline held a wide variety of jobs during her life and had a multitude of talents and hobbies, including gardening, baking and sewing just to name a few.
Caroline loved being a homemaker, cooking for her family and teaching kitchen skills to her only granddaughter. She had a resilient spirit and undefeated attitude towards all things that came her way, including the obstacles that come with reaching a ripe, old age. She kept her mind sharp and her outlook sunny and her presence will be greatly missed, a beloved mother and adored grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Diane LaValle of Homosassa, FL, Lisa Doherty of Floral City, and Vincent LaValle Jr of Floral City. She also leaves a grandchild, Alana.
At her request, there are no services planned. Private cremation arrangements entrusted to the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory, Inverness, FL.
