Steven M. Snowman, 78 of Inverness, passed away July 16, 2023 at HCA Citrus Hospital in Inverness. He was born on May 19, 1945 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Harry and Marian (Greenbaum) Snowman. Steven came to Citrus County in 1996 and was a Data Collector with the Citrus County Property Appraiser’s office for over 16 years. Steven was a member of Jewish War Vets, the American Legion, VFW and B.A.S.S.
He leaves behind his children: son, Brian Snowman and daughter, Jami McClellan and husband Brian, of New Jersey. In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Doris.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Friends may gather at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 12 Noon until the funeral procession leaves for the Cemetery at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Steven’s memory to the Citrus County Veterans Coalition, 1081 N. Paul Drive, Inverness, FL 34453.
