Richard O McNeal

Richard Olen McNeal, 76, of Spring Lake, NC, formerly of Inverness, FL passed away April 14, 2023 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Three Rivers, MI on October 23, 1946 to the late Olen Robert and Maxine (Hughes) McNeal. Richard was an aircraft mechanic with 23 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He arrived in this area in 2001, coming from Levy County. Richard was Christian by faith, and attended Calvary Christian Center. He enjoyed touring Inverness and going to the Hen House. Richard made friends everywhere, and loved spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ron McNeal. Survivors include his children Robert (Betty) McNeal of Spring Lake, NC, Scott (Jennifer) McNeal of Troy, NC, and Tonya Parcell of Fayetteville, NC; sister Patricia Hall; and 15 grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
