Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On

Adrian Stewart Carroll

Adrian Stewart Carroll, age 57, Floral City, FL passed away April 10, 2023. Stewart was born in Folkston, GA on September 5, 1965 to the late Richard and Marion (Stewart) Carroll. He was a Plant Manager/Project Manager for Anderson Columbia before retiring and spending time traveling and spending time with his wife Terri and family. He was also a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Floral City.

He loved the Lord, his wife, his family, kids and grandkids more than anything. His passions included airboats, racecars, hunting, fishing, working and his dogs. He found joy in telling stories about his grandfather AT Carroll founding Carroll Contracting and how his father Richard Carroll took over and made a wonderful impact on Citrus County. He would always say we built this road or that one no matter where we were, and he could even give the specific dates.

He enjoyed helping friends and family with projects, remodeling, or in his workshop making cabinets and woodworking with his father in law Jim Field. When not in the workshop you could find him on the road traveling to the next greatest destination with his wife. Of course he would always find the time to make it back home and see the next Gator game or the Grandkids birthday or sporting events.

You could always call on Stewart to know that obscure piece of information you couldn’t remember, as he always had the answer right on the tip of his tongue! We would always say that if we went on Jeopardy he would be our first call. He also loved his church family and he often wondered what God had in store for him. Stewart was so giving; he would do anything for anybody especially his family and church. You could walk into a room full of people and Stewart would know at least half of them. Make sure you didn’t have anywhere to go though, as he could keep you talking for a few hours.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 28 years, Terri (Field) Carroll; 3 children: Cory James Carroll and wife, Courtney; Dylan Adrian Carroll and wife, Cassidy; Justin Stewart Carroll and wife, Kelsey; Brian Keith Allen and wife, Miranda; Matthew Bouffard; 2 nephews: Richard Ty Carroll and Sabrina; Matthew Lopes and wife Emily; 3 nieces: Paige, Nicole, and Caylin; 2 uncles: George Mayo and wife Brenda, Larry Hartman; 6 grandchildren: Aria, Mila, Remington, Connor, Drake, and Torin. Cousins Michael Hartman and wife Kathryn; Michele Beckwith; Jared Hartman and wife Jennifer; and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Marion Carroll, and his brother Richard Travis Carroll.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at the First Baptist Church of Floral City on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Mike Sellers officiating. Everyone may join the family in fellowship at the church from 4:00 PM until the service begins.
