Ronald E Smith

Ronald Elmer Smith, age 74, Homosassa, FL passed away March 30, 2023 in the James Haley Veterans Administration Hospital, Tampa, FL. Ronald was born in Newport, VT on September 24, 1948 to the late Elmer W. and Hilda (Watson) Smith and came to this area in 2017 from Manchester, NH. He served our country for 18 years in the U.S. Air Force and discharged as a Tech Sergeant. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Doris Oldford Smith of Homosassa; 1 daughter, Patti Goodwin and husband Richard Goodwin of New Hampshire; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Turner and his fiance Daniel Griggs, Matthew Turner and wife Stephanie. Along with 2 great grandchildren Aria and Hunter Turner. There will be a Celebration of Life at the First Baptist Church in Hooksett, NH with burial following in Heads Cemetery, Manchester, NH. The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory assisted the family.
