Jean Fluegel, age 98, Hernando, FL passed away March 21, 2023 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Facility in Lecanto, FL.
Mrs Fluegel was born in Plattin, MO on January 17, 1925 to the late Hugh and Lilia (Wilson) Harness and came to this area in 2002 from Naples, FL.
She is survived by her son, Terry Fluegel and his wife Lori of Hernando; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Fluegel on November 6, 2014. She was also preceded by 2 sons, Keith Fluegel (2012), Gary Fluegel (2000), her brother, Hugh Harness Jr, her sister, Geraldine Brooks, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
Private burial was in Florida National Cemetery beside her late husband, Roy, on March 28, 2023. Arrangements were with Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL
