Brent M. “Mikie” LaForsch, age 69, Hernando, FL passed away March 15, 2023, in Citrus Memorial Hospital. “Mikie” was born in Dayton, OH on July 8, 1953, to the late Wendell A. LaForsch and Alberta Johnson LaForsch. He moved to this area from Miami in 1984.
Mikie was a talented wood worker and cabinet maker and a man who could fix just about anything, which he would gladly do for family, friends, and strangers alike. He was loyal and kind yet strong and brave, and we will love and miss him “always and forever”.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 40 years, Susan R. (Denton) LaForsch, Hernando, FL: two daughters: Shannon Boles, Inverness, FL and Casey Dempsey of York, ME: one sister: Linda LaForsch of Hernando, FL: three grandchildren: Alexander Boles, Dyamond Dempsey, and Dalton Grant. One niece: Kelly Tippens, and one nephew: Robert Denton Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Wendell and William LaForsch.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Private cremation arrangements are with Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
