Ronald Bert Walker, age 68, Homosassa, FL passed away March 2, 2023 at Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River.
Ron was born in Elmhurst, IL on December 17, 1954 to the late Lawrence E. Walker and Alma Weckwerth Walker and came to this area from Palatine, IL. He was the owner / operator of Ron’s Handyman Service, a company which installed windows, doors, and many other home repair services. He served our country in the U.S. Army, 82 Airborne, 1973-1977 and was discharged as a Sgt (E-5) following 4 years of service.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Randal Walker of Fox River Grove, IL and Richard Walker of Richmond, IL; and best girl friend ever, Kim Devlin of Homosassa and 6 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Walker.
Military graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 8th at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Friends may visit with the family at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, on Wednesday from 11:00 PM -1:00 PM when the procession will depart for the cemetery.
