Mr J Croft, age 56, passed away in Inverness on February 18, 2023 at Vitas Hospice. Mr. Croft was born in Inverness and lived in Citrus Co. most of his life. He was a direct descendent of the Croft family who were original pioneers of Citrus County. He attended local schools including Citrus High. He was a farmer but was also employed by Progress Energy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Mullins Croft of Inverness; 1 son, Edward J. Croft, Inverness; 1 daughter, Chelsea Rowe, Inverness. His son, Jacob Rowe preceded him in death. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Croft, and 2 sisters, Lacrisha Jones and Mae Jean Tomlinson and by a grandson, Rylee.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. J’s family a friends will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date in the Hernando Cemetery.
