Patricia R McWhorter

Patricia Rose McWhorter, 70, of Lecanto, FL passed away January 11, 2023 at HCA Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL. She was born in Queens, NY on October 1, 1952 to the late Robert Olaf and Monica Rose (Monachelli) Fjelstad. Patricia served our country honorably in the U.S. Army and was a field cable installer in the Army, and a homemaker. After many visits to Citrus County starting in 2000 to care for relatives and enjoy the beauty of the Nature Coast she permanently relocated here from W.VA. in 2014 following her husband’s retirement. She was Catholic by faith, and enjoyed fishing, swimming, gardening, crafting, and hobby woodworking. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Chester Lee McWhorter Jr. Other survivors include her sons Lee Danial (Athena) McWhorter and Brad David (Breana) McWhorter; and 3 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Gathering of Family and Friends for Patricia will be held on Monday, January 16, 11:00 AM at the Chas. E Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL., with a greeting of friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.
