Douglas Edward Brown, 96 of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away January 6, 2023, at home under the loving care of his family and Vitas Hospice. Douglas was born in Mt. Morris, Michigan to the late Lewie and Veronica (Frona) Brown. He was a retired physicist with the US Government, and came to Citrus County in 1996 from Columbia, Maryland.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Camille Kempke of Beverly Hills, FL and Beverly Brown Elo of Mexico City, Mexico; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Viola Ilona Elo in 2010.
Private cremation arrangements are under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to University of Michigan Scholarship Fund set up in honor of his beloved Viola.
