Frank Joseph Shevitz, 70, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away at Diamond Ridge Health & Rehab Center, in Lecanto, on December 5, 2022. He was born on July 9, 1952, in New Castle, PA, to the late Andy and Mary Ellen (Kirkwood) Shevitz.
Joe was a mechanic in the trucking industry. He married the love of his life, Kathryn Kelso on November 4, 1972, and recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They went on to have four children. Joe and Kathryn moved to Citrus County in 1999 coming from New Castle, PA. He was a Christian by faith and attended Hills Church in Beverly Hills, FL.
Those left to cherish Joe’s memory are his loving wife, Kathryn Shevitz; his children: William A. Shevitz of Beverly Hills, Rebecca Baird (Dr. Micah) of Akron, OH, Kelly I. Shevitz of Outer Banks, NC; brother, Andrew Shevitz; sister, Mary M. Ryan; and 6 grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Shawn P. Shevitz.
Cremation with care arrangements is provided by the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
