Jean M Baylis

Jean Margaret Baylis, 90, formerly of Inverness, went home to be with her loving husband, Van Wyck Baylis (October 15, 1930 – July 15, 2006). She was a loving mother of 4 daughters: Margaret, Vanessa (Kenneth Murtaugh, June 19, 2009) and Carl Johnson, Dorothy (Michael Bartlett) and Mary. A loving grandmother of 5: Chuck Stevens-Marrone (Ashlie), Patrick Murtaugh (1978 – 2002), Shawn (Sheila), Christopher McElroy and Daniel McElroy. Loving great-grandmother of 8: Luke, Joey, Jack, Molly, John, Aubrey, Olivia and Carter. She will be missed so much. Funeral services for Jean will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM, from the First Lutheran Church in Inverness, with Pastor Tom Beaverson, officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the charity of your choice.
